What’s Spirit?
- Spirit is an untethered jailbreak for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch on the latest firmwares.
- Spirit is not a carrier unlock.
- If you currently are using a tethered jailbreak, you have to restore to use Spirit. Do not upgrade if you use an unlock on an iPhone 3G or 3GS. (You can, however, restore to 3.1.2 if you have SHSH blobs for that version.)

GeoHot has just released a new version of Blackra1n. For those who do not know, Blackra1n is a jailbreaking program that is very simple and easy to use. This is the RC2 which is a NEW VERSION and fixes several bugs.
Here is a list of the fixes and tweaks that come with the new version of Blackra1n
• Fixed iPhone 3G jailbreak problems (freezing, stuck on a certain step);
• Added the ability to run a jailbreak type “Tethered” even in the new iPod Touch 2G, model “MC”;
• Added the ability to run a jailbreak type tethered in 3GS fitted with the new iPhone Bootroom;
• Fixed problems that occurred after the ‘install by Icy blackra1n.

Guys i just found this in Cydia today and I think it is a great mod for your springboard. I am not sure about how new it is, but it is definitely one of my new favorites 
It is called “IBNweather” from the MacCity source (I will have it below). What the mod does is allow you to view the weather right on your home screen with some really good graphics. You will need a few blank icons for this to work. Check out the screenshots below and the instructions!

Alright guys this is the EASIEST way to get MMS for your first gen iPhone. There were tutorials posted earlier, but they were lengthy. All you have to do is simply add a package in cydia with this one! HERE are the Steps:
1) Add this source in cydia: cydia.ifoneguide.nl

There is a new version of CyDelete, the tool that allows you to delete jailbroken applications without going back into cydia. It allows you to delete applications like you would normal app store applications. There is a new, fully revamped, and updated version now available in Cydia that you should definitely check out!

Stephen Smith, creator of Orbit (Expose for iPhone), has created iDashboard. iDashboard is the Mac equivalent to Dashboard. For those who do not know, the Dashboard is already included in Mac OS X and allows access to widgets as the analog clock, translator, calculator, etc..

This is an amazing mod that should be showing up in cydia in the near future. It is called SpringBoard Exposé. Creator, Steven Smith has been busy at work creating this mod and here is a rough draft:
